Young Tampa Artists Supported through the Music Revolution Project

Jonathan “Jon” Yob is a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist in Tampa, Florida. The founder of JAY Management Corporation and several other businesses, he leads the Yob Family Foundation as president. Through this organization, Jonathan Yob has supported many Tampa-based nonprofit and community initiatives, such as the GRAMMY Museum’s Music Revolution Project.

The Music Revolution Project is hosted in partnership with the Marcia P. Hoffman School of the Arts and lasts for four weeks. During that time, students enrolled in the project obtain mentoring and instruction from professionals in the music industry, who have included Three Doors Down and Graham Nash.

The program caters to young artists ages 14 to 21 who live in Tampa Bay. Throughout the duration of the program, the mentoring and instruction that the students receive go toward supporting their final performance, when a live concert is given on the Ruth Eckerd Hall stage. This event draws in over a thousand people most years and provides students with experience in performing.
