ZooTampa Announces New 'ZT Saves' Conservation Brand

An accomplished entrepreneur, Jonathan Yob of Tampa, Florida, is the founder of several local businesses and the president of the Yob Family Foundation (YFF). In line with his dedication to philanthropic endeavors, Jonathan “Jon” Yob has supported conservation efforts at ZooTampa at Lowry Park. In 2020, ZooTampa launched a new brand, ZT Saves.

 As part of its commitment to saving endangered species worldwide, ZooTampa created the ZT Saves brand extension. Through ZT Saves, ZooTampa aims to develop a unifying identity and to unite its various conservation initiatives under one umbrella. Dedicated to educating the public and partner organizations about how they can help to save endangered species, ZooTampa seeks to bolster its position as a leader in wildlife conservation in Florida.

 A participant in 115 species survival programs, ZooTampa helps endangered animals through its David A. Straz Jr. Manatee Critical Care Center, which offers care for orphaned and injured manatees. In addition, ZooTampa offers medical care to endangered Florida panthers and orphaned and injured Florida black bears, as well as the Eastern indigo snake.
