An alumnus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Jonathan “Jon” Yob has established a reputation as a business leader and philanthropist. Under Jonathan Yob’s leadership, the Yob Family Foundation has supported numerous organizations that advance the well being of children and the YFF recently named the Arians Family Foundation (AFF) as its cause of the month.

Founded by Christine and Bruce Arians in 2013, AFF upholds a mission to reduce child abuse and otherwise improve the lives of children. Specifically, it supports CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), an organization whose volunteers support and assist children who are involved in the court system due to abuse or neglect.

CASA volunteers provide support for more than 251,000 children annually. The trained volunteers protect the interests of abused and neglected children in court, remaining committed to those in their care until they are placed in foster care. Independent research shows that children who receive this service are more likely to be adopted and half as likely to reenter foster care. Additionally, children with a CASA volunteer do better in school and enjoy improved social and conflict resolution skills.
