A multifaceted entrepreneur based in Tampa, Florida, Jonathan “Jon” Yob is the founder and president of JAY Management Corporation. In addition to leading the specialty asset management corporation, Jonathan Yob serves as the president of the Yob Family Foundation (YFF), which provides vital resources for children in the Tampa community.
Established in 2012, YFF strives to support initiatives often neglected by traditional funding. One of its most recent is Healthy Meals for Tampa’s Health Care Workers, a program that provides meals to healthcare and frontline workers working amid the coronavirus pandemic.
To express its appreciation for these workers’ selfless service, YFF worked with institutions such as Advent Health and the TGH Foundation to deliver meals to staff members in the emergency, security, children’s medical services, and environmental services departments at Tampa General Hospital.
At the program’s pilot event, participating employees enjoyed authentic Honduran cuisine from El Carriel Bar & Honduras Restaurant. YFF plans to conduct similar events for healthcare workers in the future.
