An entrepreneur and philanthropist, Jonathan Yob serves as president of the Yob Family Foundation in Tampa, Florida. Also the founder and president of JAY Management Corporation and other successful businesses, Jonathan “Jon” Yob supports Tampa-area nonprofit organizations, such as A Kid’s Place.

Dedicated to providing a nurturing home to children in the foster care system, A Kid’s Place accepts young people from birth to 18 years old, meeting their educational, social, medical, and psychological needs while providing them with exposure to fun activities. A systems navigator serves as a liaison between families, teachers, the placement agency, and other professionals in a child’s life, ensuring each child under their care gets the services they need.
All children at A Kid’s Place receive immunizations, treatment of mild flu and colds, and specialty medical care as needed. Dental services are offered by various community providers to ensure kids receive regular dental cleanings and evaluations to maintain their oral health.
Outside of physical health, A Kid’s Place helps children deal with trauma from their past and guides them toward healing. Meanwhile, the organization’s activities promote overall well-being. Attending concerts and movies are some common “normalcy” activities.
